Veterans Day on November 11th is quickly approaching, a day to honor the brave men and women who served our country and celebrate them with the respect they deserve. We would like to recognize a new bank partner who is doing their part to protect elderly veterans in their community from theft, abuse and neglect through participation in our program.
Century Bank and Trust in Milledgeville, GA, has recently partnered with our organization to fund the Senior Crimestoppers program in the Georgia War Veterans Home also located in Milledgeville. Thanks to the bank’s support, the residents will enjoy a safer and more secure living environment. The funding will go towards lockboxes for each resident to store personal items, a 24/7 tipline to report crime incidents with cash rewards, the annual Wish Comes True grant program, and other initiatives to enhance the quality of life of the veterans in the home.

After recently joining CRA Partners in October 2018, Century Bank and Trust is hosting an event at the Georgia War Veterans Home to kick off their sponsorship on Tuesday, November 13th at 2:00 p.m. Members of the media and public are encouraged to attend.
